What do you mean by ignores me? If I select Teacher Zone and enter a random username and password I get the expected error message: Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.
If shared sessions is set then login to either frontend or backend sets login for both. What happens if you are logged out from the backend when you try to login to the frontend?
